Free Diabscreen Kerala Diabetes Awareness and detection camp by P.Kesavadev Trust in association with Thiruvalla Rotary Club and Kuttoor St.Mary's Jerusalem Knanaya church at Thiruvalla was conducted on 17 Jan 2016. Dr. Arun Shankar lectured on diabetes awareness.

Remya Iyer, dietitian lectured on diet and diabetes. The multidisciplinary team from JDC performed anthropometric measurements and lab investigations. Free consultation and medications were provided to the patients. Fr. Anil K Thomas, Vicar, St. Mary's Jerusalem Knanaya Church, Reji Kondodiyil, Secretary,T.I Chacko, Trustee etc. St. Mary's Jerusalem Knanaya Church coordinated the activities. Zacharia T Daniel, President, Pramod Philip, Secretary, Rotary Club of Thiruvalla also actively participated. Hari Prasad, JDC coordinated the camp.
