- Free Diabscreen Kerala Camp at Lions Club, Vizhinjam Thiruvananthapuram

The significance of insight into diabetes among the population is rapidly rising in proportion to the hike in its prevalence all over the world. Trivandrum Nobles Lions Club and 86-87 batch of Venganur Boys School in association with Kesavadevs Trust conducted a free medical camp on June 29, 2019 to create awareness on lifestyle disorders. JDC members including doctors, dieticians and nurses enthusiastically participated in the event. The venue of the program was Ashwathy auditorium, Vizhinjam Theruvu from 7: 30 am to 1 pm. Geethu Sanal, Chief dietitian, JDC and Dr. Arun Shankar, Medical director, JDC lectured in this program regarding healthy food habits and diabetes respectively.
