Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre (JDC) conducted its monthly patient education programme to promote diabetes awareness and self-management. Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev and Ms. Anjana Basanth delivered sessions on diabetes care and management, including the role of diabetes technology in improving outcomes. The multidisciplinary programme also featured practical guidance on insulin injection techniques, nutrition, and exercise from the nursing, dietetics, and physiotherapy teams. The initiative highlighted the importance of education, lifestyle modification, and technology-assisted care in effective diabetes management.
