The Kerala Chapter of AIAARO conducted a National Scientific Webinar on “Obesity 2026: Best Learnings from ECO 2026,” highlighting key scientific updates and takeaways from the European Congress on Obesity (ECO) 2026 held in Istanbul, Türkiye. The webinar witnessed active participation from physicians, diabetologists, endocrinologists, obesity specialists, and healthcare professionals.
The session was introduced by Dr. Arun Shankar, Executive Committee Member, AIAARO Kerala Chapter, while Dr. Benny P. V., President, AIAARO Kerala Chapter, delivered the welcome address. Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, Founder President of AIAARO, shared expert perspectives on emerging developments in obesity medicine and evidence-based obesity care. The programme was coordinated by Ms. Geethu Sanal, Chief Dietitian, Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre, and Treasurer, AIAARO Kerala Chapter. The webinar provided an engaging platform for scientific discussion and multidisciplinary learning in obesity management.
