Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

  • Awiqli®: Redefining Basal Insulin Therapy

JPEF conducted a Mini CME on Awiqli® (insulin icodec), the once-weekly basal insulin, on 18 August 2026 at Residency Tower, Thiruvananthapuram. The session explored the science behind once-weekly basal insulin, including its mechanism of action, unique pharmacology, evidence from the ONWARDS clinical trial programme, initiation and titration, efficacy, safety, and practical clinical use.
