Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev participated as a faculty speaker at the 5th Diabetes Research & Solutions (DRS) Conference 2026, which also featured an International Diabetes Federation (IDF) Stream on Diabetes Complications. He delivered lectures on “India Landscape of CGM Adoption: Do We Really Need It?”, “From Daily to Weekly Basal Insulin: Integrating Insulin Icodec to Routine Diabetes Care,” and “Aldosterone: The Saboteur in Persistently Uncontrolled Hypertension,” addressing advances in glucose monitoring, once-weekly basal insulin therapy, and the role of aldosterone in persistent hypertension and cardio-renal risk.
Ms. Sunitha Jothydev served as chairperson for the session “Preventing Obesity Progression,” themed “Stopping Obesity Before Complications Develop.” The session explored contemporary perspectives on weight regulation, obesity progression, pharmacological management, and preservation of muscle health during weight loss.
