Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev participated in the half-yearly general body meeting of the Kesavadev Road Residents Association (KRRA), held in the neighbourhood where he was born and raised. The programme featured the inauguration of a new CCTV surveillance system and the presentation of educational merit awards, with noted science writer Dr. R. V. G. Menon gracing the occasion as chief guest.
In his address, Dr. Jothydev drew a meaningful parallel between community safety and healthcare, highlighting the importance of prevention, early detection, and timely intervention. He emphasized that healthcare, like public safety, must increasingly move towards proactive measures rather than relying only on treatment after problems arise. The gathering was made especially memorable by the presence of long-time residents, community members, and his wife, Sunitha Jothydev.
