Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

The scientific symposium on Empa Reg one year data update saw Dr.Jothydev lecturing on One year of Empa Reg Outcome: The journey so far. Dr.Ashok Kumar Das, Senior Endocrinologist, PIMS, Pondicherry was co-speaker. Prof.Dr.S.Venkataraman, Senior Diabetologist, Apollo Hospital and Prof.Dr.R.S Hariharan, Senior Diabetologist, Hariharan Institute of Diabetes were chairpersons. All the faculty was part of the moderated panel discussion. The symposium was held at Hotel Accord Metropolitan, Chennai.
