October 28, 2007: Diabscreen camp at Thycaud, Trivandrum in association with Purusha Sahaya Sangham.

P.Kesavadev Trust, Diabscreen Kerala conducted the 321 ist detection, awareness and free treatment camp on life style illnesses at C.V Smaraka GrandhaShala Hall at Thycaud.Diabscreen team members did free sugar, cholesterol, Blood pressure, weight, waist circumference etc. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev conducted the interactive lecture and underscored the importance of maintaining normal waist circumference and body weight to prevent life style illnesses.Though the majority of participants were manual laborers, the cholesterol levels were found to be very high indicating unhealthy food habits requiring urgent interventions. Sangham President P Prasad, Secretary B Ramesh Kumar, Diabscreen Co ordinator A.Jayapalan, Mudavanmughal Satheesh etc., spoke. All the subjects were examined and medical advises given. Deserving subjects were distributed insulin pens, insulins, medications free of cost.
