The 52nd Annual Conference of the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDI) was held at Yashobhoomi, Delhi, with a dynamic team from Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre (JDC) participating actively. The team included Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, Ms. Sunitha Jothydev, Dr. Arun Shankar, Ms. Gopika Krishnan, Dr. Krishnadev Jothydev, Dr. Shahana Yasmin, Ms. Gopika Beena Chandran, Ms. Fahma Mansoor, and Ms. Brijit Johnson.

Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev delivered multiple sessions, including RSSDI Expert Consensus for Optimal Glucose Monitoring in Diabetes Mellitus in India and Recommendations for Clinical Practice: CGM, Wonders of Early Weight Loss on T2D Journey Continuum: Tirzepatide, Understanding CGM and Its Relevance, Newer Generation of Basal Insulin, and Leveraging Digital Technologies for Diabetes Care: Healthcare Provider Perspective. Dr. Arun Shankar presented his original research on the Impact of an Advanced Hybrid Closed-Loop System on Glycemic Control in Type 1 Diabetes, while three other original studies were showcased as posters: Efficacy of Finerenone in Preserving Renal Function in Type 2 Diabetes with Chronic Kidney Disease by Dr. Shahana Yasmin, Impact of a Connected Ecosystem with 24/7 Telemedicine on Glycemic Control in Individuals with Type 2 Diabetes by Ms. Gopika Krishnan, and Project DREAMS (PD): A Holistic Approach to Empowering Individuals with Type 1 Diabetes by Ms. Gopika Beena Chandran. The conference served as a significant platform for knowledge exchange and showcasing innovative approaches in diabetes care, with JDC’s contributions receiving widespread recognition.
