Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev lectured at Patient Education Program for new patients of JDC Kochi at Hotel Park Residency, Kakkanad, Kochi. The education program educated patients and caretaker on the various aspects of diabetes, the importance of diabetes tele management system, the merits and demerits of various diet and lifestyle modifications, use of glucometer, injection techniques, continuous glucose monitor, insulin pumps etc. Mr. Pavitraraj gave introduction, Ms. Sunitha Jothydev welcomed the gathering. Dr. Tara Susan Mohan spoke on investigations in diabetes and Ms.Annie Ajai spoke on diet in diabetes. Ms.Gopika Krishnan demonstrated the insulin injection techniques and SMBG. The group of >80 patients enthusiastically clarified their doubts with Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev.
