World Diabetes Day Walkathon was organised by P. Kesavadev Trust at JDC, Trivandrum. The Walkathon was inaugurated by celebrity cine artist Shri. Maniyan Pillai Raju. The Walkathon was aimed to spread awareness about the growing diabetes epidemic and to convince the general public about the need for diabetes prevention.
