Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was a faculty for the 7th National Insulin Summit(NIS) held at Hyderabad on 31 August and 1 September 2013. 6 National Consensus Group Meetings were organized under the auspices of the National Insulin Summit. Dr.Jothydev was the chairperson for the consensus meeting on “Insulin and pump therapy” on 31 August 2013 (10:00 – 13:00), the first day of the event. These consensus statements were presented on 1 September 2013 (8:30 – 10:00) to the audience. The consensus statements would be published in the Journal of Association of Physicians of India. Dr.Sunil Jain was also a faculty at the consensus meeting. Dr. Ashok Kumar Das was the National Convener of 7thNIS 2013.
