Jothydev's Diabetes Research Centre had 4 abstracts presented at the IDF World Congress Melbourne 2013. The oral presentation was on the ‘The young Indian female with type 1 diabetes: challenges with marriage.’ The other accepted abstracts presented were on the 'continuous customised education via telemedicine: outcome data of events over 8 years', 'safety of pneumococcal and influenza vaccine in diabetes patients in South India' and the 'High prevalence of Hypertension in Kerala population: Diabscreen Kerala 22'.
