Diabetes Education for School kids was conducted by Diabscreen Kerala at Mannom Memorial Residential High School, Neeramankara, Trivandrum. Mathrubhoomi Daily "Madhuram Malayalam" Program - free distribution of newspapers for one academic year at the various classes as part of promoting Malayalam language and reading habits among children supported by Kesavadev Trust was also launched. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev (former student of MMRHS) inaugurated the event and later made an interactive presentation on diabetes with specific directions on prevention.
