"Basics and advances in diabetes" : Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev. Jothydev spoke at the gathering at Upavan Resort, Wayanad to a group of doctors from N.Kerala. The 3 hour long lecture dealt with various topics from basics to use of different insulin preparations and a discussion on barriers to diabetes therapy. Seen in the pictures are Dr.Apoorv, Manikandan, Annamalai (Biocon) and Sunitha Jothydev.. Controversial topics like bariatric surgery raised by the audience at the end of the session stimulated active discussion among the group. The question answer session lasted for more than an hour.
