Diabscreen Kerala free diabetes awareness, detection and treatment camp was organised by P. Kesavadev Trust and C.S.I Church, Punalur on 17 October 2014 at C.S.I Church Parish Hall, Punalur. The camp had a massive participation of more than 180 patients. Anthropometric measurements, lab investigations like blood glucose, cholesterol etc. were performed for all the participants. Diabetes awareness class led by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev was well attended and questions on diabetes management were answered. Dr. Ashwin David also answered the patients' questions. Free consultation continued for 4 hours and free medicines were also provided. Diabetes team from JDC including Bindu, Kala, Soumya etc. also participated in the camp. Jayasree Lally and Prasad, JDC coordinated the camp. Ms. Sunitha Jothydev, Director, JDC supervised the camp activities.
