The DREAMS Diabetes Academy conducted a free online Q&A session on 8 August 2026, providing an interactive educational platform for children and adults living with Type 1 diabetes, along with their parents and caregivers. The session focused on addressing practical questions related to diabetes management, glucose monitoring, insulin therapy, nutrition, diabetes technology, and everyday self-care.
The session featured the multidisciplinary team from Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre, including Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr. Arun Shankar, Dr. Asha Ashik, Ms. Geethu Sanal, and Ms. Anjana Basanth. Through expert guidance and open interaction, participants were able to clarify concerns and gain practical insights for better Type 1 diabetes management.
Through such initiatives, the DREAMS Diabetes Academy continues its commitment to providing free education, awareness, and ongoing support to people with Type 1 diabetes and their families.
