Diabscreen Kerala is a major diabetes awareness project of P.Kesavadev Trust. The Diabscreen Kerala team, headed by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev, conducts diabetes awareness, prevention, and treatment programs at various geographical locations in collaboration with regional organizations.

  • Strengthening the Battle Against Pneumococcal Disease

Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev spoke at VAXtalk, a national webinar organized by RSSDI on 13 August 2026. His presentation, “PCV20: Expanding Pneumococcal Protection Across the Diabetes Care Continuum,” highlighted the importance of pneumococcal vaccination in people with diabetes. At Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centres (JDC), pneumococcal vaccination has been part of preventive diabetes care since 2005. The webinar also featured Dr. Anuj Maheshwari, President, RSSDI, and Dr. Jayanta Kumar Panda, Professor & HOD, Medicine, SCB Medical College.
