Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on ‘Insulin Pumps: evolving indications and new generation patch pumps ’ at the RSSDI Kerala Chapter, Quarterly Meeting held at Hotel KPM Tripenta, Malampuzha, Palakkad on 18th Dec 2011. Dr.Jothydev emphasized the importance of utilizing the newer technologies like Continuous Glucose Monitoring and Insulin pump therapy in diabetes management. He also attributed the lack of diabetes education among the patients, relatives and caregivers as the major reason for treatment failure in diabetes. The meet saw participation by more than 70 doctors from across Kerala.

Presentations were also made by Prof.M.V.Muralidharan, Prof.S. Criton, Dr. Harish Kumar, Dr.Arun.S.Menon, Dr.P.K.Jabbar, Dr. Rajkumar Maheswari etc.

The CME was inaugurated by Hon. Shafi Parambil MLA. Organising chairman Dr.A.P.Radhakrishnan and Secretary Dr.N.M.Arun seen in pictures.
