29 July 2011: CME Lecture: API, Cochin Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on "Diabetes 2011: Translating Research into Clinical Practice" at the CME conducted by the Association of Physicians of India, Cochin chapter, at the IMA House, Kaloor,Cochin. The well attended CME, saw active participation of more than 40 physicians in and around Cochin. Dr. Jothydev discussed on the newer technologies in the field of diabetes including the implantable insulin pumps and his expertise in telemedicine, making the treatment of diabetes cost effective in the long term, was much appreciated by the physician's group. The Q & A session discussed the challenges of escalating cost of treatment and the decisive role of telemedicine in bringing down the treatment costs. API Kochi Chairman Dr.P.Ramakrishnan Chaired and Secretary Dr.K. Ajaya Kumar welcomed the gathering.
