Kesavadev Trust, Jothydev’s Diabetes Hospital and Research Centre along with IMA-AMS Nemom organized iSchool: The Insulin Training Workshop virtually on 21 December 2020. The workshop modules were covered in 3 ½ hours in digital format from 6:00pm - 9:30pm. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Arun Shankar, Ms.Gopika Krishnan, Ms.Geethu Sanal, Dr.Ashwin David Ashok, Ms.Akhila Manoj, Dr.Yaseen Unes, Dr.Sajna Shijin discussed diverse topics related to insulin including overview of diabetes management and insulin therapy, insulin regimens, types, benefits and challenges, insulin initiation, titration and intensification, basics of nutrition in diabetes, insulin therapy with OHA, insulin storage, injection and techniques, dos and don'ts, newer technologies for insulin delivery, insulin delivery devices and case studies and discussion. This was followed by active interactions.
