P.Kesavadev Trust and Type 1 Diabetic Welfare Society on behalf of celebration on 100 years to discovery of insulin, jointly organized Madhura Nakshathra Sangamam, a virtual event on 28 February 2021 from 8:00 -10:00 pm.

Mr.Vijesh T.R, State President, Type 1 Diabetic Welfare Society, presided over the function. The program began with Ms.Sudha Sreejesh, advisory board member of the welfare society, welcoming the guests and the public. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Chairman and managing director of Jothydev’s Diabetes Research centre, Dr.Arun Shankar, medical director, JDC, Ms.Gopika Krishnan, academic head, JDC, Dr.Sajna Shijin, Ms. Geethu Sanal, chief dietician and Ms.Akhila Manoj, Diabetes Nurse, together answered the queries raised by the parents. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev also gave a comprehensive lecture on Insulin. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Ms.Sudha Sreejesh, advisory board member of welfare society. Over 100 children and their families participated actively in the virtual event.
