The 18th P.Kesavadev Awards 2022, was announced during the press conference on 7 June 2022 by the P.Kesavadev Awards Committee. The 18th P.Kesavadev Literary Award was conferred to renowned literary critic, researcher and journalist Dr.P.K. Rajasekharan. The Diabscreen Kerala Kesavadev Award 2022, was conferred to Ms. Preetu Nair, Times of India Deputy Editor, for her innumerable news and articles published during the Covid pandemic. To honour the organizations outside Kerala working tirelessly for the Malayalam language and literature, P.Kesavadev Trust introduced P.Kesavadev Malayalam Award this year. The Kerala Association of Dallas (KAD), Texas, USA was the recipient of the first Kesavadev Malayalam Award. Literary Award Committee Chairman Dr.George Onakkoor, Committee members, Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Arun Shankar, Ms.Sunitha Jothydev were present at the press meet.
