- Technology Transforming Lives in Type 1 Diabetes

A recent patient story shared by the JDC Technology Team highlighted the positive impact of advanced diabetes technology on the life of a young individual living with Type 1 diabetes. Under the care of Jothydev’s Diabetes Research Centre (JDC), the patient has been on insulin pump therapy since 2019 and transitioned to the MiniMed™ 780G Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) system in 2022.
The experience demonstrates how modern diabetes technologies can support improved glycemic management, greater independence, and enhanced quality of life for individuals with Type 1 diabetes. The journey also underscores the vital role of patient education, continuous support, and family involvement in achieving long-term diabetes care goals. Through such real-world success stories, JDC continues to promote awareness of technology-enabled diabetes management and its potential to transform patient outcomes.
