The 22nd P. Kesavadev Awards 2026 celebrated excellence in literature and healthcare, commemorating the enduring legacy of the renowned Malayalam writer and social reformer, P. Kesavadev. The event was inaugurated by Hon. Chief Minister Shri V. D. Satheesan, in the presence of Smt. Bindhu Krishna, Hon. Minister for Women & Child Development, Government of Kerala.
The P. Kesavadev Sahithya Puraskaram was conferred on Mr. Subhash Chandran in recognition of his outstanding contributions to Malayalam literature through acclaimed works such as Manushyanu Oru Aamukham and Samudra Shila. The P. Kesavadev Diabscreen Puraskaram was presented to Dr. Thankam Subramanian for her lifelong dedication to advancing diabetes care, patient education, and community health.
The ceremony brought together eminent personalities from the literary, medical, and public spheres, celebrating individuals whose contributions have left a lasting impact on society.
