Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev was conferred the prestigious Dr. D. Veeraswamy Seshiah Oration Award at Hello Diabetes Academia, Nagpur. The award was presented by Dr. P. C. Manoria, Dr. Sunil Gupta, Dr. Kavita Gupta, Dr. Shashank R. Joshi, Dr. Shankar Khobragade, and Dr. Rakesh Parikh.
As part of the oration, Dr. Jothydev delivered a lecture on "Use of Technology in Diabetes in Pregnancy," highlighting the transformative role of continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), automated insulin delivery systems, telemedicine, and multidisciplinary care in improving maternal and fetal outcomes. Named in honour of Prof. Dr. V. Seshiah, regarded as the Father of Gestational Diabetes in India, the award recognizes excellence in advancing diabetes care through innovation, research, and clinical practice.
